A gift to the BSO is an investment in the future of superior
symphonic music in Brevard County. In addition to the knowledge
that you have helped the BSO, and the tax deduction that your contribution
provides, contributors also receive a quarterly newsletter and
invitations to BSO special events.
General Operating Contributions
As a non-profit orchestra, the BSO depends greatly on the generosity
of corporations, foundations and individuals like you to help us
continue to fill Brevard County with beautiful music. Producing
quality, professional concerts are very costly. The tickets proceeds
only cover approximately one-fourth of the orchestra's expenses.
Thanks to the financial commitment of hundreds of BSO supporters
we are able to provide you with six exciting subscription performances
as well as many others each season.
Memorial Gift Contributions
A Memorial Gift is a way for individuals or corporations to celebrate
our avid supporters. The income from memorial gifts is placed in
the BSO's Endowment Fund. This fund was established to ensure the
endurance of the organization. When a gift is made in memory of
a spouse, parent or friend the named individual will have a perpetual
listing in the BSO Season Program Booklet. The Contributor will
also be listed as a donor in a separate program listing.
